Camarillo Maternity Photographer
There is a small window of time in which you can capture beautiful greens like this in California. Before you know it, summer is here and everything turns brown. I just love this field grass and the beautiful first time mother to be in it. Congratulations, only 3 more weeks until baby is due!
off of the bridal path, we found a beautiful garden and luckily the owners were tending to it, and happily let us take pictures inside, with the ladder and stairway seen above and the rusted iron bed below.
.......................and don't forget Daddy! I love these two.

baby {M}
This sweet angel might be the winner of my easiest newborn to shoot. We started right as she went into deep sleep. She was 3 days old and oh so beautiful. I often have to do retouching on newborn's red spots and baby acne, but she had none. The mother wanted some very natural shots without too many accessories or props and I love the pureness of them.
I was going to wait until April to post this, but HAPPY EASTER a little early. I love this crocheted bunny and carrot. So precious!
I usually shoot my outdoor shots in open shade to give a flattering flat light. But it was closer to noon with no shade available, and they had such a beautiful backyard, so I took advantage and shot anyways in direct sun.

A couple and their dog
loved this couple and their dog. She is so photogenic and check out her boots. I want a pair.
There was the most beautiful sunlight hitting my lens, so I used my lens hood to shield out too much lens flare, but to get just enough of the sun haze. I love me some good haze........so pretty.
the {B} family
I am just loving these colors. Coordinating 23 people is not always easy, but I think this family did it well and I love their style. Acessories are a great way to pull all the colors together, and they did just that. We went for a more formal portrait that the Grandma plans to enlarge.......................
........................but we also got some fun ones. You can totally feel the love this family has from this photo below. They are a "yours, mine, and ours" family (just like me, by the way) and have 6 daughters and 1 son.
We got a few of each individual family as well.

Santa Monica Photographer- the pier
These were taken at the Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles. This beautiful family welcomed Jack into their lives about 1 month ago. I usually only shoot newborn sessions within their first few days of life, but little Jack was sooo good. A very happy baby. And look how great mom looks only 4 weeks postpartum.
