rain, rain, go away.........well at least for one hour :)

well we lucked out on this shoot. We had scheduled it, then rescheduled it and we were really putting all our eggs in one basket......................then the forecast was showing 30% chance of rain.  It was raining hard on this family's drive to the location. But we luckily missed the rain in our 1 hour shoot. And as we drove away, the rain started to pick up, phew!

simple yet stunning: Newport Beach Temple Wedding

This bride is so naturally beautiful. She rarely, if ever, wears makeup; keeps her hair almost always in a ponytail; barely wears any jewelry; she doesn't even have to try and she looks so gorgeous. She wanted a simple wedding, without the groomsmen, bridesmaids, bouquets, etc.  But she wanted to married in their favorite Temple in Newport Beach.  Congrats to you both!!

I don't usually shoot between 12noon-2pm because of the harsh lighting, but it was a fun opportunity to play with the rays of the sun. What beautiful sun haze.

When she first walked out of the temple, I couldn't get over how cute she looked in her short dress. I love that she is so unique. She is simple, down to earth, and so much fun!!!

This is my first time shooting a family with 5 kids. But they are the happiest family, even the teenagers were cooperative. Love you guys!!!
